×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ Awards Fall 2017 Corporate Sponsorships
LENEXA, Kan. - An outdoor learning area at an elementary school and a competitive softball team are the recipients of the Fall 2017 Corporate Sponsorships.
The ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ Corporate Sponsorship program provides financial contributions to selected organizations nominated by ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ associates. The sponsorships provide a way for ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ to serve the community through the activities, events and organizations that are meaningful to ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ associates.
The two most recent recipients are:
Hunter’s Outdoor Learning Areaat Bonner Springs Elementary School, nominated by Pam Frazey, ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ receptionist. HOLA was established in honor of the grandson of the school’s principal, Kim Mitchell. Hunter was born prematurely and lived for 18 minutes. The children of the school raised money for the learning area with a penny drive. The area has been vandalized twice so the teachers, parents and children hope to establish more lighting and possibly move it closer to the building. Pam's granddaughter, Jillian Bowman, attends the school.
Top Gun Academy, a highly competitive and recognized softball program in Kansas City, Mo., nominated by Wes Young, ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ electrician. His daughter, Tori Young, plays on the team.
Congratulations to our Fall 2017 Corporate Sponsorship recipients and thanks to all who applied.
