×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ Awards Spring 2017 Corporate Sponsorships
Two non-profit organizations nominated by ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ Group associates have been awarded the Spring 2017 Corporate Sponsorships.
Twice annually, the Corporate Sponsorship program provides financial contributions to selected associate-nominated organizations. The sponsorships allow ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ to serve the community through the activities, events and organizations that are meaningful to ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ associates.
The most recent Corporate Sponsorship recipients are:
- KC Elite Fastpitch, a travel team of Kansas City-area high school girls who compete at a high level to earn scholarships for college. They plan to use the money for tournament fees and travel expenses. Beth Martens, service coordinator at the Lenexa office, nominated KC Elite Fastpitch, which is her daughter’s team.
- DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) of Liberty High School in Henderson, Nev., nominated by Matthew Chadwick, mechanical construction assistant in the Las Vegas office and a DECA member. LHS DECA used the award to assist them in traveling recently to Anaheim, Calif., for the DECA International Career Development Conference.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who applied. ×îÐÂÂ鶹Դ´ strongly encourages all associates to apply for future Corporate Sponsorships.
